Developed for the British admiralty in the late 1850's, the 1858 Enfield Naval Pattern rifle was one of the most
accurate weapons of its day. Case hardened lock, walnut stock with solid brass fittings. This version is a well balanced piece with smoothbore or rifled barrel and oil finished stock of American walnut as per the original. This musket features a case colored percussion lock, blued barrel bands and the correct style screws. The triggerguard, buttplate and nosecap are finished in brightly polished brass.
