Manufacturer's Warranty

Customers located in the United States who require assistance or additional information should visit the "Support" section of chiappausa.com.

Conditions and Limitations

Chiappa Firearms Srl warrants that the purchased product is free from manufacturing defects, subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations set forth in this warranty and in accordance with the laws applicable in the country of purchase.

The warranty period begins on the date of retail purchase, as evidenced by a receipt, invoice, or other valid proof of purchase. To obtain warranty service, the customer must retain proof of purchase and product identification information, including the model and serial number.

This warranty applies only to defects in the product that arise during the applicable warranty period. Chiappa Firearms Srl reserves the right to inspect the product, determine the nature of the defect, and assess whether the defect is covered under this warranty.

The Manufacturer and/or its authorized local Distributor undertake to remedy any defect recognized as covered by this warranty through repair or replacement of the defective product or component.

The most appropriate remedy will be determined taking into account the nature of the defect, the value of the product if free from the defect, the technical feasibility of the intervention, and any inconvenience that a particular remedy may cause to the purchaser.

Request for Assistance

In the event of a defect, malfunction, or request for assistance, the customer should first contact the dealer from whom the product was purchased.

The dealer will perform an initial evaluation of the product and, if necessary, contact the authorized Distributor responsible for the country of purchase.

The dealer and the authorized local Distributor are the designated channels responsible for handling assistance requests and warranty claims within their respective territories.

This warranty is void and shall not apply in the following cases:
  1. Normal wear and tear resulting from use of the product, including wear of parts, surface finishes, and metal, wood, polymer, rubber, or carbon components;

  3. Misuse, abuse, neglect, careless handling, or failure to follow the instructions contained in the user manual;
  4. Use of defective, improper, hand-loaded, reloaded, remanufactured, non-standard, commercially unavailable ammunition, ammunition exceeding regulated pressure limits, or ammunition not conforming to the caliber and specifications marked on the firearm;
  5. Repairs, modifications, alterations, or other interventions performed by persons not authorized by Chiappa Firearms Srl;
  6. Alteration or modification of firearm parts, safety devices, or original components;
  7. Use of non-original components, accessories, or replacement parts, improper assembly, improper replacement procedures, or use of incompatible parts;
  8. Removal, alteration, defacement, or illegibility of the serial number;
  9. Damage or defects that were evident at the time of purchase and should reasonably have been identified before completion of the sale;
  10. Expiration of the warranty period provided by applicable law or any extended warranty activated through product registration.

The purchaser is responsible for inspecting the firearm before completing the purchase to verify its condition, ensure that it corresponds to the intended product, and confirm the absence of any visible defects or damage.

The Manufacturer does not warrant defects or damage that should reasonably have been detected at the time of purchase.

Any damage occurring during transportation between the Distributor and dealer, or between the dealer and the end customer, is not covered by the Manufacturer's warranty.

Each firearm is designed to function properly with original parts supplied by Chiappa Firearms Srl.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that any replacement or additional parts are suitable for the firearm, correctly installed, and not altered or modified.

Chiappa Firearms Srl and/or its Official Distributors shall not be liable for malfunctions, personal injury, death, property damage, consequential damages, incidental damages, costs, or other expenses arising from criminal, unlawful, negligent, careless, or improper use of the product; unauthorized modifications; defective or non-compliant ammunition; abuse; neglect; lack of maintenance; or any other circumstance beyond the direct control of the Manufacturer.
